- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing
- Extra cheese for topping optional
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix until combined.
Add egg. Knead dough for 8 minutes until smooth.
Let dough rise in greased bowl for 1 hour.
Punch down dough. Fold in shredded cheese evenly.
Divide dough into 10 even pieces. Shape into buns.
