Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly oil the baking dish.
Place chicken breasts evenly in dish.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix ricotta and egg.
Add Parmesan, garlic, oregano, onion powder.
Stir until fully combined and smooth.
Spread ricotta mix over each chicken breast.
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Cover dish with foil, bake 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes.
Broil for 2 minutes until cheese browns.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves.
