Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium cabbage finely shredded
  • 1/4 cup carrots grated
  • 2 tablespoons onion finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In your large mixing bowl, mix the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and chopped onion.
  • Mix the Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vegetable oil, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Combine and Chill: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until all ingredients are well coated. Place in the refrigerator, covered, for a minimum of one hour to let the flavors blend seamlessly.
  • Serve: Stir the coleslaw again before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
