Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crab meat imitation works fine
  • 1 avocado cut in small pieces
  • 1 cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 2 sheets seaweed nori, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha chili sauce
  • Soy sauce for topping
  • Pickled ginger optional
  • Wasabi optional

Instructions
 

  • Wash rice until water looks clear.
  • Cook rice with water until soft and sticky.
  • Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Add this mix to the rice and let it cool.
  • Mix mayo and sriracha to make spicy sauce.
  • Cut avocado, cucumber, and grate the carrot.
  • Shred the crab meat and slice the green onion.
  • Put cooked rice into serving bowls.
  • Add crab, avocado, cucumber, and carrot.
  • Add seaweed strips and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  • Drizzle with spicy mayo and soy sauce.
  • Add green onions, wasabi, or pickled ginger if you like.
