Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Steam the broccoli for 3–4 minutes.
Drain and set the broccoli aside.
In a bowl, mix soup and mayonnaise.
Add the beaten egg and whisk well.
Stir in garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix in shredded cheese.
Fold in the steamed broccoli gently.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix crackers and butter.
Sprinkle cracker mix evenly on top.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes.
Top should be golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
