Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cherry Swirl:

  • cups cherry pie filling
  • ½ tsp almond extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line pan with parchment.
  • Whisk melted butter and sugars in a bowl.
  • Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  • Sift in flour, cocoa, and salt. Stir gently.
  • Pour brownie batter into prepared baking dish.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla to cheese. Blend well.
  • Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie batter evenly.
  • Spoon cherry filling on top in dollops.
  • Swirl gently with knife or toothpick.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes. Center should be set.
  • Cool completely on wire rack before slicing.

  2. Don’t over-swirl the cherry layer—keep the contrast.
  3. Cool completely before cutting for clean edges.
  4. Use fresh cherry compote instead of canned if desired.
