Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup carrots diced
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup potatoes cubed
  • 1 cup seafood mix shrimp, crab, fish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups seafood broth
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 pre-made pie crust or homemade
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Heat butter and oil in skillet.
  • Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
  • Add carrots, celery, and potatoes. Stir gently.
  • Add seafood mix and seasonings. Stir until coated.
  • Sprinkle flour, stir until vegetables are coated.
  • Slowly pour broth, stir until thickened.
  • Add cream and peas, stir well.
  • Transfer filling to baking dish.
  • Roll crust over top, trim edges neatly.
  • Brush with egg wash.
  • Bake 35 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and cool slightly.
