Instructions
 

Melt the Butter

  • Place a saucepan on low heat. Add butter and let it melt slowly. Do not rush this step. The butter should melt gently without browning.

Add the Flour

  • Sprinkle flour into the melted butter. Whisk continuously to form a smooth paste. Cook for about one minute until it smells slightly nutty.

Pour the Milk Slowly

  • Slowly add warm milk while whisking. This helps avoid lumps. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes smooth and slightly thick.

Add Cream for Richness
