Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 250 g ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

For the glaze:

  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard

Prepare the Breadcrumb Mix

  • Take a small bowl. Add breadcrumbs and milk. Let them soak for five minutes. This makes them soft. It helps keep the meatloaf juicy. Do not skip this step. It is very important for texture.

Cook the Onion and Garlic

  • Heat a pan with a little oil. Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook until soft and fragrant. This takes about five minutes. Let them cool before adding to the meat mixture.

Mix the Meat Base

  • In a large bowl, add ground beef and chicken. Add soaked breadcrumbs, cooked onions, garlic, and egg. Mix gently using your hands. Do not press too hard. Keep the texture light.

Add Flavorings

  • Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley. Mix everything slowly. Make sure all ingredients are evenly spread. Avoid overmixing to keep the meat tender.

Shape the Meatloaf
