Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 5 medium potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain fat.
  • Add diced onion and cook until soft.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • In a bowl, mix soup, milk, and half the cheese.
  • Layer potatoes at the bottom of the dish.
  • Spread cooked beef mixture evenly over potatoes.
  • Pour soup mixture on top and spread smoothly.
  • Add remaining cheese over the top layer.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
