Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions

Season the Pork Chops

  • Pat the pork chops dry using paper towels. This helps them brown better in the pan. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and paprika on both sides. Rub the seasoning gently into the meat. Let them rest for a few minutes so the flavor can absorb well.

Prepare the Honey Mustard Sauce

  • Take a bowl and add Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, and minced garlic. Mix everything well using a whisk or fork. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Taste it and adjust sweetness or tanginess if needed before cooking.

Sear the Pork Chops

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the pork chops carefully into the pan. Cook for about 4–5 minutes on each side. Wait until they turn golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.

Add the Sauce

  • Lower the heat and pour the honey mustard sauce into the pan. Coat each pork chop evenly with the sauce. Let it cook slowly so the flavors blend together and create a rich, tasty coating.

Add Chicken Broth

  • Pour chicken broth into the pan slowly. This helps create extra sauce and keeps the pork chops juicy. Stir gently and let everything simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Finish with Butter

  • Add butter into the pan and let it melt completely. This step makes the sauce creamy and smooth. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops while they finish cooking for extra flavor and shine.

Rest and Serve

  • Turn off the heat and let the pork chops rest for five minutes. This keeps them juicy and tender. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a nice look. Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use bone-in pork chops for richer flavor
  • Do not overcook the meat to keep it soft
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy version
  • Replace honey with maple syrup for deeper sweetness
  • Add cream for a thicker and richer sauce
  • Always rest meat before serving
