Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked rice day-old preferred
  • 1 cup grilled chicken or beef chopped
  • 2 tbsp Japanese BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables carrots, peas, corn
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 green onion sliced (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat wok over medium heat.
  • Add sesame oil and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Add onion and cook until soft.
  • Stir in mixed vegetables. Cook for two minutes.
  • Push veggies aside. Add beaten eggs. Scramble lightly.
  • Add grilled meat and stir well.
  • Add rice and toss everything together.
  • Pour in Japanese BBQ sauce and soy sauce.
  • Stir constantly for even coating.
  • Cook until rice is hot and slightly crispy.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Garnish with green onions before serving.

  • Use day-old rice for the best texture.
  • Add a splash of BBQ sauce at the end.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook in batches if needed.
  • For smoky flavor, grill meat before mixing in.
