Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • ½ cup cooked chicken shredded
  • ½ cup spinach chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried herbs thyme or oregano

Instructions

Prepare the Crust

  • Place the pie crust in your baking dish. Press gently to fit the edges. Prick the base with a fork. This prevents bubbles while baking. Pre-bake it for 10 minutes at 180°C.

Cook the Filling

  • Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook until soft and fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Stir in chicken and mix well. Let it cool slightly.

Mix the Eggs

  • Crack eggs into a bowl. Add cream and milk. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Add salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Mix well so flavors combine evenly.

Assemble the Quiche

  • Spread the chicken and spinach mixture over the crust. Sprinkle cheese on top. Slowly pour the egg mixture over everything. Make sure it spreads evenly across the dish.

Bake to Perfection

  • Place the quiche in a preheated oven at 180°C. Bake for 35–40 minutes. The center should be set but slightly soft. The top should look golden and slightly puffed.

Rest and Serve

  • Remove the quiche from the oven. Let it rest for 10 minutes. This helps it firm up. Slice carefully and serve warm. Enjoy every bite of your Marry Me Quiche Recipe.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for stronger flavor
  • Add mushrooms or bell peppers for variety
  • Swap chicken with turkey or beef
  • Use low-fat milk for a lighter version
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy twist
  • Try different cheeses like feta or parmesan
