Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 4-6 lemons
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar adjust based on your preference for sweetness
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves more for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In your pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Continue stirring until all the sugar has fully dissolved into the mixture.
  • Add the mint leaves to the pitcher. Use the back of a spoon to gently muddle the mint, releasing its aromatic oils.
  • Pour in the cold water and stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir again to chill the lemonade.
  • Serve the mint lemonade in glasses garnished with extra mint leaves and slices of lemon.

Notes

  • Sparkling Mint Lemonade: Substitute one cup of water with sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
