Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
  • 1/2 cup chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup water or almond milk

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly. Peel and slice the banana. Chop the pineapple and mango into small pieces.
  • Blending: Place the spinach, banana, pineapple, mango, and ice cubes into the blender.
  • Add Liquids: Pour in the water or almond milk. Add the Greek yogurt and honey.
  • Blend: Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more liquid and blend again.
  • Taste and Adjust: Taste your smoothie and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
  • Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use Frozen Fruit: For a thicker, colder smoothie, use frozen banana, pineapple, and mango.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Depending on your taste, you can adjust the amount of honey or even substitute it with another sweetener like agave.
  • Pack in Proteins: Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for an extra boost.
  • Liquid Choices: Substitute water with coconut water or a plant-based milk for additional flavor.
  • Spinach Substitutes: Kale can be used in place of spinach for a different nutrient profile.
