Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lb angel hair pasta optional
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta if using. Set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté 1 minute.
  • Add shrimp. Cook 2 minutes on each side.
  • Pour in white wine. Let it reduce by half.
  • Add butter and lemon juice. Stir to blend.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Toss cooked pasta in the skillet (if using).
  • Sprinkle parsley over the shrimp before serving.
  • Plate with lemon wedges or extra Parmesan.

Notes

  1. Use fresh shrimp for better flavor.
  2. Don’t overcook the shrimp—they turn rubbery.
  3. Deglaze the pan with wine for depth.
  4. Add pasta water if sauce is too thick.
  5. Finish with cold butter for a glossy sauce.
  6. Use high-quality olive oil for richness.
  7. Fresh lemon juice adds brightness to the dish.
