Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ½ cup warm milk 110°F
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp milk if needed

Instructions
 

  • Warm milk and stir in yeast. Let it sit 5 mins.
  • Add sugar, egg, butter, cocoa, vanilla, coloring.
  • Slowly mix in flour and salt to form dough.
  • Knead for 5–7 mins until soft and elastic.
  • Place in bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
  • Roll dough into a rectangle on floured surface.
  • Mix filling ingredients and spread over dough.
  • Roll dough tightly and slice into 10 rolls.
  • SPlace rolls in greased dish. Let rise 30 mins.
  • Bake at 350°F for 20–25 mins until golden.
  • Mix frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.

  1. Use floss to cut perfect, clean rolls.
  2. Don’t skip the second rise—it makes rolls fluffier.
  3. Add chopped nuts or mini chips for extra texture.
  4. Use gel food coloring for a vibrant red shade.
