Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 red chili sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 pack rice paper wrappers
  • 1 small cucumber julienned
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce.
  • Toss in sliced chili and Thai basil leaves.
  • Cook until basil wilts and beef absorbs flavors.
  • Remove from heat and let filling cool slightly.
  • Dip rice paper in warm water until soft.
  • Place lettuce, cucumber, and carrot on wrapper.
  • Add a spoonful of beef mixture on top.
  • Roll tightly, folding sides inward.
  • Repeat until all filling and wrappers are used.
  • Arrange Thai Basil Beef Rolls on a platter.
  • Serve immediately with dipping sauce of choice.
