  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika

For the Cranberry Orange Sauce:

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • ¼ cup honey or sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional for thickness

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  • Rub olive oil over the turkey breast.
  • Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  • Place on a rack in a roasting pan.
  • Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Check internal temperature—should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Cover loosely with foil and rest for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the cranberry orange sauce.
  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and zest.
  • Add honey and water. Stir over medium heat.
  • Simmer until cranberries burst, about 10 minutes.
  • Mash lightly and thicken with cornstarch if needed.
  • Spoon sauce over sliced turkey breast.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use fresh cranberries for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overcook the turkey; check temperature often.
  • Let the meat rest before slicing—it keeps it juicy.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon to the sauce for depth.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 days.
  • Reheat sauce gently to maintain texture.
  • Garnish with orange slices for a festive look.
