Pickling Liquid
- 1½ cups white vinegar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon black peppercorns
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Make the Pickling Brine
Place the white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard seeds, celery seeds, turmeric, black peppercorns, and ginger into a saucepan. Stir everything together. Heat over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.
