For Chicken Marinade:
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
For Noodles & Vegetables:
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 1/2 red bell pepper sliced
- 1/2 cup snap peas
- 2 green onions chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
For Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Cook noodles as directed. Drain and set aside.
Marinate chicken with soy sauce, oil, cornstarch. Set aside.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat.
Add chicken. Stir-fry until fully cooked.
Remove chicken. Add garlic and vegetables. Stir-fry quickly.
Add cooked noodles and chicken to wok.
Pour sauce over. Toss until everything is coated.
Cook for 1–2 minutes. Stir well.
Garnish with green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
- Slice chicken thin for faster cooking.
- Don’t overcook noodles. Keep them springy.
- Use high heat for better stir-fry flavor.
- Swap chicken for shrimp or tofu if needed.
- Add chili sauce for some spicy heat.
